Hosted for momentum.
Private for control.

The same maintained data access layer, in our cloud or your infrastructure. Both include REST API, Python SDK and MCP. Choose who operates the runtime and how many connectors you need.

Prices in USD, excluding applicable taxes. Vendor subscriptions and data licenses are separate. Private infrastructure is supplied and paid for by you.

One access layer.
Two operating models.

Both options include maintained integrations and governed access through REST, Python and MCP. Provider availability, quotas and data rights still apply.

Before you choose.

What counts as an active connector?

Each enabled provider counts once. Hosted's 20 slots cover both public sources and vendors that require your own key. CCXT counts as one connector across its supported exchanges; Polygon / Massive is one provider integration. Private Deployment has no QJ cap on active connectors. Provider quotas and contractual limits still apply.

Are market-data subscriptions included?

No. The subscription covers QuantJourney software, access infrastructure and connector maintenance. You arrange any required vendor accounts, keys and licenses, including display, non-display, redistribution and AI usage rights where applicable. Public access to a source does not remove its usage restrictions.

Is MCP included?

Yes. REST API, Python SDK and MCP are included in both options. Agents use approved tools with scoped access and provider context. They do not receive raw vendor credentials.

What does the $999 Private setup cover?

Standard installation on a compatible Docker / Linux VM, initial configuration and handover. You supply the VM, network access and vendor accounts. The $999 monthly subscription covers the licensed runtime, maintained connectors and software updates. Infrastructure costs are separate. Support response targets, upgrade responsibilities and any non-standard requirements are agreed before purchase.

What are the request limits?

Account limits are agreed during onboarding. Requests are also subject to provider quotas and route-specific cache policies. Private Deployment removes the QJ connector cap; it does not remove vendor rate limits. Contact us to size the installation for your workload.

Can you add a source or support a custom deployment?

We review requests for standard catalog additions within five business days, then confirm feasibility, data rights, scope and timing. Bespoke integrations and deployment work, including custom Kubernetes, SSO or internal data systems, are quoted separately.

What happens when a Private license expires?

Updates and support end at expiry. Full operation continues for 90 days for renewal, export or migration; after that the installation moves locally to export-only mode. Stored data and configuration remain available, while provider-fetching routes and MCP tools stop. There is no remote deletion. See the Private Deployment Addendum.
